Builder Support

Some support (up to 1-2 hours per week) can be provided by Connect Care application coordinators to help Builders with build choices or issues they face when configuring in pre-production environments. Unless otherwise specifically resourced, the Connect Care Builder Committee will be responsible for overseeing support allocations to help Builders fulfill their responsibilities. The secretariate will triage support requests link Builders to Application Coordinators (ACs) best able to meet the need. Oversight of these support activities will be shared with the CMIO or designate for prescriber builders.

As the Connect Care builder program grows, new Builders will be increasingly mentored by established Builders. Mentor-to-Builder and Peer-to-Peer forums also grow.

Builder Club Office Hours

Informal builder "office hours" bring builders and analysts together online at designated times to promote consultation, information sharing and collaborative problem-solving. These sessions are optional but encouraged as a powerful learning opportunity.

Builder Community of Practice

A Builder Slack workspace (ahscmio.slack.com) was initiated to support advanced Connect Care users. However, work is underway to transition these activities to AHS's instance of Microsoft Teams.
